By ONME Newswire

Due to a localized wind event and continuing dry conditions, including extremely dry vegetation and low humidity levels, PG&E has notified 888 customers in Kern and Santa Barbara counties that a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) event will begin Friday morning (Dec. 15) at 9:00 a.m.

We will notify customers when the wind event has passed and provide updates on when power is expected to be restored.

Customers can check for updates related to their specific address and view available resources, including a Community Resource Center in Kern County, at www.pge.com/pspsupdates.
