About ONME





The mission and purpose of The ONME Network which began in 2009, featuring digital news network, has always aimed to collaborate with local, Black and/or ethnic California media and news outlets and distribute statewide news and community programming to the masses with the intent of keeping readers, listeners and viewers informed about he latest local, regional and state news information happening in Black communities.

"ONME" stands for “One New Media Expression,” has featured original news and information, entertainment and community-based programming from throughout California’s Black communities. ONME News, created by executive news producer, Julia Ann Dudley Najieb, launched its weekly original news shows in 2012 to be featured on The ONME Network.

ONME News is a collaboration of local and regional news publishers, as well as citizen journalist, who come together to provide local, regional premium news content to Black and/or ethnic communities throughout California.

ONME News also fills in for territories in California considered news deserts for Black communities; the ONME News – Central Valley Edition has covered local and regional news from Modesto, Calif. to Tulare,Calif for over 15 years.

The ONME Network houses original news content for video and audio podcasts on its network, as well as offline hyper-local, television programming, based on special events and significant holidays happening throughout California, (i.e. Black History Month, Juneteenth, MLK Day.)
Viewers can watch California-based, 24/7, linear programming online to watch hyper-local news and informative content. Niche online news programming is broadcasted and watched by diverse audiences through The ONME Network video players available on the participating publishers’ websites.
